Here we go again. The out of touch with reality Republican sycophants trying to rewrite history to fit their obstructionist party ideology that “the Democrats are weak on terrorism” with that mendacious Cheney mouthpiece, Mary Matalin, claiming that “George Bush inherited 9/11”, former Bush bimbo spokesperson, Dana Perino, asserting “there was never a terrorist attack on America during Bush’s term in office” and just the other day that cross dressing fascist demagogue, Rudy Giuliani, proclaiming that “we were never subjected to a domestic terrorist attack on George Bush’s watch”.

Ya can’t make this shit up. Matalin and Perino can peddle their self-serving aberrations to Republican Radio which is just about ninety percent of AM radio that digests the contents produced by these sorts of diseased minds who have their own set of facts and then feeds it to a public hungry for a simple solution to the fear they feel and the perpetuates the ignorance that helps them avoid the slightest curiosity for of a more rational explanation based in reality.

As for Fox I mean this is a charade, a farce, a sham pretending to be a news agency. How much more obviously shameless, shallow and transparent can these pseudo journalists be while they get paid to peddle the propaganda and delusional bullshit of the lunatic fringe 24/7 that now consumes and debases the party of Lincoln. As such this segment of the chattering class shouldn’t even be considered as a respectable or a legitimate news outlet. That a large number of Americans actually prefers to tune in to this misinformation has disturbing implications for our ability to distinguish fact from fantasy.

What is most disturbing however is that even the so-called legitimate sources of news, in this instance ABC news, continue to provide a format for discredited ideologues like Rudy Giuliani on their shows to parrot the same bile while interviewers like George Stephanopoulos continually fail to point out on air and in the face of these shameless charlatans that such assertions are outrageous and outright lies.

Once upon a time sanctimonious slackers like Stephanopoulos, Olberman et al couldn’t resist getting a cheap laugh by asking “what’s he smoking?” but when faced with the absolute silly bullshit spewed from the mouths of Matalin, Perino and Giuliani who by the way obviously aren’t smoking anything they proceed to give it credence rather than the ridicule it so richly deserves.

Stephanopoulos wrote in his blog that he “accepted responsibility”, whatever that means these days because he still has his show, “for not pressing the point” so as not to offend a deranged personality like America’s mayor begging the question: why does even the mainstream media continue to pass off people like Giuliani as experts on terrorism when the historical record reveals that Giuliani’s own policies as America’s mayor were in large part responsible for the tragedy of 9/11 and the disaster that followed exposing him as a quack and not a expert?
