chines new year - the year of the dog

I have a web log – an expression of ideas on limitless topics – a “blog” if you will. I named it “yova’s world” - the following is but a peak through the window of yova’s world.

countin’ change – pennies, nickels, dimes – just need 3 more quarters to pack ‘em, dimes are next because nickels take too much time (I suspect nickels will soon become a footnote of our past) and the problem with pennies is that by participating in “take a penny/leave a penny” sometimes you’re one penny shy of 50 – but tonight’s count was 11 over 50– with the penny profit I can cash in the 20 nickels I have and exchange them for more dimes and more quarters toward a sure thing.

But after all the counting, and botching an attempt to wrap the coins I remembered those moments when I felt the fingers of everyone who touched an old penny from youth without a care to the trembling of an old hand, I saw all those involved to bringing this penny into existence from manufacture to distribution, I saw the birth of that one penny before it was born from the earth to all that nurtured it.
