Some Truth to Power

There is a Big Brother and he is watching for I have seen Big Brother’s face and it is that of a police state that follows orders and shows its contempt for the Constitution by repressing those who dare exercise their liberties to object to a government that causes death and destruction.

In addition since the police state has a monopoly on the means of violence only non-violence has a chance of waking us up from this nightmare, this madness among men where is suffering is caused or condoned by looking the other way.

Non-violence can expose the illusion, the myth, the big lie perpetuated by the government and pushed by the press that we are a free society. When the attempt to exercise freedom by respecting the constitutional rights of others to the exclusion of any coercion by government results in hands being plastic cuffed behind one’s back then the reality that no one is free when others are oppressed can no longer be concealed by those who never volunteered to make the supreme sacrifice for the freedoms they now suppress.
