The Space Between Time

"Time" is nothing more than a man made construct to describe a point of reference. In a constant state of flux there is no "time" in and of itself. In essence "time" is an illusion.

My point of reference is 30 days ago ("time") when i last posted anything. i posted a letter i had written to my congressman to determine his position on Rep Conyers (D-MI) legislation to censure and impeach. i stated i would post his reply. one night ("time") i was on the computer. the next morning ("time") i woke up and the aol icon was gone. i attempted to find it and the next thing i knew was that my computer was no longer functioning.

for the first few days ("time") i experienced the same sensations of loss when a loved one leaves a relationship. nearly two weeks later ("time") and hours ("time") of aggravation on the phone with tech support my computer was functioning but everything i had in Word was lost in the process, the dates ("time") of birth and death of the cats who lived with us, a complete index of music and dvds, thoughts expressed, ideas in various stages of formulation -all "time" past lost forever.

in the meantime ("time") i received a reply from my congressman almost a month ("time") after i had written. yet it took 3 weeks ("time") before i fully comprehended my congressman's disconnect from reality ("time"). bush's explanation of declassifying information in response to new york times op-ed piece by joseph wilson as "wanting the people to see the truth" provided a cornucopia of humor to this very moment ("time").

rather than print his entire reply i choose to post my response next ("time") and participate in the illusion of provoking thought.
