Hillary Clinton's Plan for Iraq

In response to the President’s call for an increase in U.S. troops in Iraq Hillary Clinton has a plan, Joe Biden has a plan, John Kerry has a plan, John Edwards has a plan, Chuck Hagel has a plan, Sam Brownback has a plan, John McCain has a plan, all have presidential ambitions, and all supported the joint resolution to authorize the use of force against Iraq and the chaos that followed.

As such they all bear responsibility for the death and destruction which consumes Iraq today and as such they all have a moral responsibility to make right that which they made wrong yet not one of the aforementioned presidential aspirants offers a plan that addresses our accountability as a nation.

The plans differ in subtle nuance only e.g. setting various quotas on or increasing troop levels over different periods of time and conditioned on Iraq’s government willingness to stop the violence that we created – a fact which all plans fail to mention.

The punditocracy dissects each plan as if they were more than placeboes or flimflam attempts to avoid the reality that it is the President who as commander-in-chief conducts a war which can only be declared by Congress.

While no such formal declaration of war against Iraq has been made it was House Joint Resolution 114 which these particular pious politicians passed preferring their political posturing to show support for and give power to a president made popular by his “bring ‘em on” all hat-no cattle rhetoric which appealed to the baser instincts of mob mentality and its insatiable blood lust in America at the time to avenge 9/11.

The following is what our presidential aspirants approved and thereby authorized a fraudulently selected president to assume the role of commander-in-chief, wage an unending war based on pure fabrication supported by faulty intelligence and/or cherry picked intelligence, and now arrogantly claim that he has constitutional authority to do so under Article 2, Section 2 of the Constitution of the United States:

" Whereas members of al Qaida, an organization bearing responsibility for attacks on the United States, its citizens, and interests, including the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, are known to be in Iraq;

Whereas Iraq continues to aid and harbor other international terrorist organizations, including organizations that threaten the lives and safety of United States citizens;

Whereas the attacks on the United States of September 11, 2001, underscored the gravity of the threat posed by the acquisition of weapons of mass destruction by international terrorist organizations;

Whereas Iraq's demonstrated capability and willingness to use weapons of mass destruction, the risk that the current Iraqi regime will either employ those weapons to launch a surprise attack against the United States or its Armed Forces or provide them to international terrorists who would do so, and the extreme magnitude of harm that would result to the United States and its citizens from such an attack, combine to justify action by the United States to defend itself; "

The above sections from HJR-114 expose the lies that were based on faulty intelligence and/or cherry picked intelligence and present the possibility that this president was either incompetent in his judgment or guilty of deceit and deception. Are we now to believe that Hillary Clinton and our other current presidential candidates who perpetuated the lie when they voted for HJR-114 have any plan other than to get elected president?

When George W Bush uses his constitutional authority under Article 2, Section 2 to escalate the war in Iraq who has a plan to exercise their constitutional authority under Article 2, Section 4 and impeach George W Bush, Richard Cheney, et al before they cite HJR-114 after they provoke war with Iran?
