Valentine's Day

I couldn’t resist sharing some serious irony that occurred on the western side of New York State. It starts five years ago when a man named Muzzamil Hassan launched Bridges TV for the purpose of portraying Muslims in a more positive light and used the slogan “connecting people through understanding.” Flash forward five years and apparently Mrs. Hassan doesn’t want to be connected to Mr. Hassan so she files for divorce and takes out an order of protection against Mr. Hassan. Apparently she knew Mr. Hassan all to well because the day before Valentine’s Day Muzzamil Hassan showed us how he responds to people who don’t want to be connected when he beheaded his wife. So much for orders of protection and so much for portraying Muslims in a more positive light.
